MyEllevate

What Is MyEllevate?

MyEllevate is a ground-breaking minimally invasive neck lift procedure that treats wrinkles and sagging skin gathering between the neck and jawline area providing for a smoother appearance and more sculpted jawline in under an hour. MyEllevate uses an LED light guided suture rod system which allows the surgeon to place a suture suspension underneath the skin without incisions. These sutures shape and elevate the soft tissue in the jaw and neck region, to re-establish definition in the jawline and a more youthful appearance. Unlike more extensive surgical procedures such as a neck lift, no incisions or skin removal is required. This significantly reduces downtime, allowing you to resume normal activities within a few days. MyEllevate is ideal for those who wish to see dramatic results instantly, without downtime.

How is MyEllevate Performed?

Prior to the MyEllevate neck lift, a local anaesthetic is applied to eliminate any pain and discomfort. The skin will be marked to help guide Dr Rohit through the procedure. Then, he will perform the following steps. Firstly, he will make small punctures along the jawline. These punctures will be the access points of the Suturod device. Next, he will used LED light guidance to insert the Suturod device and strategically place sutures beneath the skin over the neck muscles and glands. These sutures are then pulled to lace the underlying neck structures tightly together before the device is removed, and the punctures are closed with dissolvable sutures. The whole procedure will take about an hour after which you can resume your normal activities.

What Is Recovery Like with MyEllevate?

Since it’s a minimally invasive procedure, the MyEllevate neck lift requires little downtime, and the recovery is relatively fast. You can resume your normal activities almost immediately after your treatment. Most patients need about 4 days to recover from the MyEllevate procedure, during which you may need to wear a chin strap. You might experience minor discomfort, bruising, and swelling for about ten days, especially if you get liposuction. You may also experience some tightness or dimpling in your skin after the procedure. These minor side effects should subside within a few days.

FAQs

What is the difference between a surgical neck lift and the MyEllevate treatment?

A neck lift procedure is typically performed as an outpatient procedure under general anaesthesia or intravenous sedation. The cosmetic surgeon will make a small incision behind each ear, and depending on the patient's needs, there may also be a third small incision underneath the chin. Through these incisions, he or she will tighten the neck muscles and/or underlying tissues and remove excess, sagging skin to restore a smoother, firmer, and more youthful appearance to the neck. Recovery time after a neck lift will depend on the individual, as well as the extent of surgery. Typically, patients return to daily activities, including a return to work, within 2 weeks after surgery. Expect your neck to feel tight for a few weeks and know that bruising and swelling are normal. These effects should subside gradually, with visible bruising typically gone after the first week, and that “tight” feeling remaining for up to several months.

The MyEllevate® treatment, on the other hand, is a minimally invasive procedure that requires almost no downtime. Unlike a facelift or a neck lift, the MyEllevate® procedure doesn’t require incisions or removal of skin and can be performed under local anaesthesia in a surgeon’s office. Patients love it because it is a quick procedure (about an hour) and provides natural-looking results. Most patients experience rapid healing with minor bruising and swelling due to minimal tissue trauma.

Who is a good candidate for MyEllevate?

MyEllevate is suitable for anyone with early signs of aging in the neck and around the jawline who doesn't want to undergo invasive surgery with lengthy downtime. You can consider getting this state-of-the-art neck rejuvenation procedure if: Your neck is starting to bulge out a little, you have extra fat under your chin and along your jawline, your jawline is starting to lose its definition and you don’t want any incisions in your neck, on the sides of your face, or behind your ears.

What are light-guide neck sutures?

The light-guided suture system is a state-of-the-art technology enabling surgeons to perform a minimally invasive and incision-free neck lift. Sutures lift and tighten the underlying neck layers to sculpt the neck and give it a younger appearance. With LED light guidance, surgeons can strategically and accurately place permanent sutures inside the neck tissue without making incisions. By transmitting LED light through the neck tissue to the exact locations where the sutures need to be placed can be pinpointed and the surgeon can weave the underlying neck muscles and glands together with permanent neck sutures to achieve a slimmer and smoother neck contour.

When will I see results?

Marked changes will appear in the jawline directly after your MyEllevate session, but with mild swelling, you may not see them right away. As the swelling subsides, you’ll notice increased definition in the neck as well as a reduction in vertical banding. Your outcome will continue to improve over time as the body’s natural supply of collagen is replenished. Your results are expected to last 5-years+ on average although some have lasted as long as 9 years.

Can we combine MyEllevate with other treatments?

We often perform MyEllevate with other minimally invasive treatments, such as liposuction for fat removal from the neck and jawline and Endolift or other energy-based treatments like HIFU for RF Microneedling to stimulate additional collagen.

What is the cost of MyEllevate?

While MyEllevate produces almost the same results as a surgical neck lift, the costs are significant but less as there is no general anaesthetic and no hospital stay. The exact cost of your MyEllevate neck lift may vary depending on whether you get it alone or in conjunction with other cosmetic procedures, such as liposuction, Endolift or RF Microneedling but as a standalone will be around £6,000.
