Sunekos

What Is Sunekos?

Sunekos is an injectable treatment uses a patented formula which combines amino acids with hyaluronic acid. Sunekos regenerates the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) of your skin and deeply hydrates and plumps the treated tissue. This leads to a reduction in the severity of your wrinkles, hydration to both the superficial and deep layers of your skin, a desirable volumising effect and a dramatic boost to your elastin and collagen.

What Areas Can Sunekos Treat?

What makes Sunekos so great is the fact that it is versatile. It can be used for multiple body areas, such as the neck, face, and decolletage. There are two treatment types, Sunekos 200 and 1200. The 200 formula is perfect for gentle improvements around the most noticeable areas, especially for younger people concerned about the onset of visible skin issues. Sunekos 1200 offers greater support and structure for sagging skin and deeper lines.

FAQs

What is the downtime with Sunekos?

Sunekos is not invasive, and patients will not experience any major side effects. Therefore, people can resume their normal activities after the treatment, including work.

Is the treatment painful?

Mild discomfort may be felt during the procedure as your skin is penetrated by a needle. But a numbing cream can be applied to the area to reduce discomfort if required.

How long will the results last?

The results of Sunekos treatments can last about 6 months. Having a good skincare routine and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can help maintain the results for longer, though, so it’s important to consider this.

How long does it take to see any results after the treatment?

People need multiple treatments to see results. Ideally, patients should complete a course of 4 sessions in order to see the best results possible but you'll start to see results as soon as 7 - 10 days after treatment. These results usually last for around six months, though a wide variety of factors can have an impact on this, including lifestyle, sun exposure and the unique properties of your skin.

Is Sunekos a filler?

Sunekos has something present in most temporary dermal fillers, respectively hyaluronic acid, but it doesn’t operate by plumping the skin. Instead, it helps the skin heal itself, creating a more natural result.

What’s the difference between Sunekos and Profhilo?

There are many similarities between Sunekos and Profhilo but, in our experience, Sunekos is generally better suited for skin with more advanced signs of ageing whereas Profhilo is used to refresh, firm and smooth skin, giving skin its’ “glow back”. More information on the differences between the two can be found in our Blog.
