Endolift journal · Compare · 4 min readEndolift vs Endolaser and other copy devices: what to check

Endolift is a specific treatment using the LASEmaR 1500 laser by Eufoton at 1470 nm with original single use fibres. Endolaser and unbranded laser lifts, advertised in the UK from about £700 to £1,000, may use different equipment. Before booking any laser lift, ask which device and fibres are used, and who performs it.

Why there is confusion

When a treatment becomes popular, similar sounding names appear. Search for a laser lift in London and you will find Endolift, Endolaser, laser lift, endolaser lift and several unbranded versions. Some clinics use the names loosely, and adverts do not always make clear which device is being used. Prices vary widely too, from budget offers to well over £3,000 for a full face.

This article explains what genuine Endolift is, what you can and cannot tell from a name, and what to ask any clinic, whichever treatment you choose. It is not a claim that every alternative is unsafe. It is a guide to asking the right questions so that you know what you are paying for.

What genuine Endolift means

Endolift is a registered name for a treatment carried out with a specific system. The genuine treatment uses:

  • The LASEmaR 1500 laser, made by Eufoton.
  • A wavelength of 1470 nm, which is strongly absorbed by water and fat.
  • Original single use fibres, between 200 and 600 microns wide, placed under the skin through a tiny entry point.

At 1470 nm, the energy contracts the fibrous septa beneath the skin, which gives some immediate tightening. It can liquefy small fat deposits, and it triggers collagen remodelling, as weaker Type III collagen is replaced by stronger Type I. The genuine Endolift page explains how to recognise the system.

What you cannot tell from a name

A clinic advertising Endolaser or a laser lift may be using a different laser, a different wavelength, different fibres, or a reused fibre. It may also be using equipment that works perfectly well. The name on its own does not tell you. That is the point: you need specific answers, not a label.

The things that vary between devices and clinics include the laser source, the wavelength, whether fibres are new for each patient, how the energy is controlled, and the training of the person holding the fibre. Any of these can affect both the result and the risk of problems such as burns or uneven skin.

It is also worth checking that the clinic will give you a written consultation summary and consent form before treatment, so you can read them at home without pressure. The way a clinic handles consent often tells you a good deal about how it handles everything else. The patient journey page shows how this works at TK Medispa.

Why budget laser lifts cost less

Budget Endolaser and unbranded laser lift treatments are advertised in the UK from about £700 to £1,000. Genuine Endolift in London typically ranges from roughly £1,450 to £4,900, depending on the clinic and the areas, with most full face prices between £2,495 and £3,900. The gap can come from several places.

Cost factorWhat to ask
The deviceWhich laser is it, who makes it, and what wavelength does it use?
The fibresAre the fibres original and single use, opened in front of me?
Who treats youIs it a doctor, and what is their training in this technique?
What is includedIs the consultation, anaesthetic, aftercare and review in the price?
Areas treatedDoes the low price cover 1 small area or the full plan I need?

A low headline price is not automatically a bad sign, and a high price is not proof of quality. What matters is whether the answers to these questions are clear and in writing. The article on cheap Endolift deals goes into this in more detail.

Risks apply whichever device is used

Any laser placed under the skin carries the same broad set of risks. Swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness, temporary numbness and some firmness or lumps where fat was treated are expected. Most settle within days, though numbness and firmness can take 1 to 2 weeks or longer.

Rarer risks include burns, skin irregularity, infection, scarring at entry points and temporary nerve weakness, for example of the marginal mandibular nerve, which can affect the smile for a period. The skill of the person treating you, and the control of the energy, are central to keeping these risks low. The side effects and safety page explains them plainly.

Treatment should not be offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding or with active infection in the area. Some blood clotting or autoimmune conditions, keloid scarring, and recent fillers or threads in the area need discussion first. A clinic that does not ask about these is worth questioning.

Cost at TK Medispa

At TK Medispa in Kensington, every treatment uses genuine Endolift by Eufoton with original single use fibres and is performed by Dr Rohit Seth. A single face area costs £1,500, the lower face £2,000 and the full face £2,500. Body areas start at £2,000. Each price includes the photo assessment, video consultation, treatment, local anaesthetic, aftercare and review. Full details are on the cost page.

Results can last up to 2 years, depending on age, skin, weight stability, sun exposure and smoking. Results vary.

Dr Seth's view "Patients sometimes show me an advert and ask if it is the same treatment. Often I cannot tell from the advert, and neither can they. My advice is simple. Ask which laser it is, ask to see the fibre opened, and ask who will treat you. A good clinic will answer all 3 without hesitation."

Questions people also ask

Is Endolaser the same as Endolift?

Not necessarily. Endolift refers to treatment with the LASEmaR 1500 laser by Eufoton at 1470 nm using original single use fibres. Endolaser and similar names may describe different equipment. The only way to know is to ask the clinic which device, wavelength and fibres they use.

How can I check a clinic uses genuine Endolift?

Ask for the name and maker of the laser, the wavelength and whether the fibres are original and single use. You can ask to see the fibre packaging opened before treatment. A clinic using the genuine system should be comfortable answering all of this in writing.

Is a cheaper laser lift always worse?

Not always. Price depends on the device, the fibres, who treats you and what is included. Some low prices cover a single small area or leave out the consultation and review. Compare the full written quote for the same areas, and the qualifications of the person treating you.

Does reusing a fibre matter?

Genuine Endolift uses original single use fibres, which are opened for each patient. A fresh fibre helps with hygiene and with consistent delivery of energy. If a clinic cannot confirm the fibre is new and made for the device, it is reasonable to ask why.
